Mentoring Resources

Maximize the impact of mentoring

Resources

VMP's Resource Library provides information to help individuals and groups plan, manage, operate, and evaluate a mentoring program. Also available are resources for mentors, mentees, and parents/guardians to help them get the most out of the mentoring relationship. School districts, businesses, tutors, and volunteers will also find helpful research and sample materials here.

In 2013, the Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) selected VMP's national organization, MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, to establish the first-ever OJJDP resource center focused solely on mentoring. Mentoring programs may now apply for no-cost specialized local technical assistance through the National Mentoring Resource Center. This technical assistance will be provided by Mentoring Partnerships and experts in the field. The resources and technical assistance will be in alignment with the national standards for quality mentoring, The Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™.

Visit the National Mentoring Resource Center to learn more and to apply for no-cost technical assistance and training from VMP.
