Work-based Mentoring
Today more and more companies are starting mentoring programs to help the young people who live in the communities where the companies do business. Some mentoring takes place at a school or site and other times mentees join their mentor at the workplace.
According to a study done by the Mentor Consulting Group, the benefits of mentoring can extend beyond the impacts on a young person to positively affect the life and work of the volunteer mentor.
